Book4Time was founded in 2004 by Roger Sholanki, a serial entrepreneur and visionary with over 20 years of software industry experience and successes. Roger’s last venture, a real-time Retail Management System (RMS) was envisioned before the Internet boom and quickly became a success capitalizing on the dot com wave with thousands of users and fortune 500 clients adopting its Retail Management System.
Shortly after selling his last company in 2002, Roger envisioned a need for a web-based appointment scheduling system for small businesses with an integrated real-time online booking engine delivered over the web on a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform.
By 2004, Roger struck a partnership with Bliss, a new acquired spa division of Starwood Hotels and Resorts. With aggressive plans to roll out the Bliss spas in all W Hotels, Starwood was faced with a challenge finding scalable spa management software that would handle their needs. Working in collaboration with both small spas and Bliss, Roger set out to assemble a team to develop the industry’s first web-based spa management software with advanced web technology and customer centric focus.
On November 6, 2007, Book4Time officially launched to the general market at the ISPA show after successfully proving the new concept and its web-based technology at Bliss and other select group of clients.
Today, Book4Time is quickly gaining momentum and market share among established spa brands and start-ups in over 10 countries.
