Founder and CEO
Roger brings over 20 years of experience in the software industry as a visionary and entrepreneur of several successful start-ups.
Roger founded Book4Time.com in 2004 as a spin-off of a strategic alliance with Starwood Hotel & Resorts to develop the industry's first web-based enterprise level platform for managing complex, high-volume reservations for its Blissworld Spa division.
Prior to this, Roger was the founder and CEO of Capture.Net Technologies Inc., a software company he nurtured from initial start-up to rank #14 on Canada's Profit 100 hottest start-ups list. Capture.Net's flagship products included loyalty and retail POS systems. Capture.Net was acquired in January 2003 by Boston-based CommercialWare Inc., a division of Micros (Nasdaq:MCRS).
Prior to Capture.Net, Roger founded Cybersoft Corporation, a software development company that brought to market the industry's first real-time POS platform, RMS. In 1996, Sprint PCS purchased RMS to run its nationwide retail business. By 1998, RMS was the leading POS solution for the telecommunications market and was later acquired by Boston-based Lightbridge (Nasdaq:LTBG). RMS is still in operation today with over 4000+ Sprint-Nextel locations nationwide using the technology to run its retail operation.
Building on experience and a strong passion for customer satisfaction, Roger has managed to make a positive change in the business community and also sits on the advisory board of several technology start-ups.
